Voice therapy is a behavioural program designed improve vocal function related to voice quality and vocal effort through a variety of voice exercises, daily voice strategies, and vocal health and hygiene. Voice therapy can also help improve vocal fold surgery outcomes with a combination or pre- and post-operative voice therapy.
Progress with your voice can begin during your first visit and goals can be met in as few as four voice therapy sessions over a period of 4-8 weeks. A very important predictor of progress is your motivation and commitment to the voice therapy and recommended practice.
